Hello! My name is Tara El Moheb, and I am delighted to introduce myself as an English teacher with a passion for literature, language, and the art of communication. With 14 years of experience in teaching English, I hold a degree in Liberal Arts from LAU and a teaching diploma from the University of Cambridge, where I developed a deep appreciation for both classic and contemporary literature.
My teaching philosophy is centered around fostering a love for reading and writing while helping students develop critical thinking and analytical skills. I believe that literature opens doors to understanding diverse perspectives and enhances empathy, which is essential in our interconnected world.
In my classroom, I aim to create an engaging and inclusive environment where every student feels comfortable expressing their thoughts and opinions. I utilize a variety of teaching methods, including discussions, creative writing exercises, and multimedia resources, to make the learning experience dynamic and enjoyable. Whether we are analyzing a Shakespearean play or crafting personal narratives, I strive to make each lesson relevant and thought-provoking.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading novels and attending literary events, which continually inspire my teaching. I also value professional development and regularly participate in workshops and conferences to stay updated on the latest trends in English education.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I am excited about the opportunity to inspire my students to become confident readers and writers, and I look forward to embarking on this lovely journey together!
